Plus sign into minus

I was full of confidence when the interviewer told me that the medical condition is not a major problem until this morning she called to ask about my medical term for the management and she said will get back to me again. However, I didn't receive her phone call thereafter and I'm so worry for not being shortlisted.

Her first sentence was this, 'As much as I wanted to employ you, I would like to know your medical term!' It sounded so negative to me and it turned my plus sign into a minus.

Got to know my last duty saturday is on the 05th Aug and if I was to fulfill the responsiblity, I won't be able to claim my off-in-lieu as my official last day is on the 04th Aug(Friday). The officer-in-charge then said, by right I should have fulfill the duty but somehow, she will get someone to replace me.

My mood is very low and feel like crying out all the sadness but somehow, I got to learn how to be strong and firm.
